GRE Test Structure and Overview

The GRE (Graduate Records Examination) is pathway to admission in graduate programs at almost all major and recognized universities. It is held and organized by the ETS (Education and Training Services) which is also famous for its TOEFL, TOEIC and Praxis Test Series. Numerous state of
the art test centers in more than 230 countries makes GRE a convenient source for applicants to prove their quantitative, verbal and writing skills required by more than 3200 graduate schools.  Each year more than 600,000 students take GRE with varied educational, professional and geographical backgrounds.

Structure
GRE is integrated into three parts;

Analytical Writing
This section measures applicant’s ability to write and explain critical situations, his/her ideas and conception ability to understand complex factors.

Verbal Reasoning
Verbal reasoning measures applicants reading ability, comprehension skills, verbal reasoning ability and other parameters to understand written material.

Quantitative Reasoning
This section measures applicant’s quantitative reasoning, problem-solving ability, and other fother basic concepts of quantitative data analysis, geometry, algebra and arithmetic.
