Recognized Graduate Visa (Subclass 476)


This is a special visa for professionals having qualification from recognized institutes from all over the world. This allows graduates to live , wok and stay in Australia for the period of 18 months. Hereunder is the list of recognized
qualifications and institutes which are acceptable for this visa category. Other factors like age limitation, application fee and place to submit application are also discussed for your ease.


Age
While submitting application as recognized graduate, you must be under 31 at that day.
English Language Competency
Applicant must have English language proficiency at least at competency level. This can be demonstrated in any of the two following ways;
IELTS (A band score of 6.0 in each speaking, reading, writing and listening);OR
You hold passport of any of the following countries;

Acceptable Qualifications
To apply under this category, you must have a post graduate diploma, doctorate degree, master degree or professional graduate degree in an engineering discipline. Engineering disciplines which are acceptable are civil, chemical, mechanical, structural, production and plant engineering, but it’s not limited to only these engineering disciplines.

Study in Australia – How to Apply?

Australian institutes are recognized for their educational standards and excellance. Each year thousands of students from all over the world choose Australia for their higher, vocational and other professional studies. Australian colleges and universities differ in many ways from other
education providers. One and most important of them is practical approach which they impart into students by facilitating them the real and simulative working environment. Teachers and vocational instructures also chosen from working professional having extensive experinece in their respective fields. In short, study in Australia is an endeavor which every students wish to pursue.
In below lines you would find documents you need for visa application to study in Australia, visa fees and embassy addresses where to submit application.
List Of Documents:
You need following documents for your application. For successful outcomes, you must provide everything in clear and understandable form;
  • Study in Australia visa application form (duly filled and signed by applicant)
  • Offer letter by Australian  education provider
  • Passport copies of all people included in the application
  • Four recent photgraphs
  • Marriage or divorce certificate (if applicable)
  • Medical certificate from designated practisioners
  • Police clearance certificates for all applicants who are above 18
  • Original and certified copies of all educational documents
  • Original and certified copies of all educational transcripts/mark sheets
  • IELTS test report
For English language course: 5.0 bands minimum
For vocational/technical diplomas: 5.0 bands minimum
For degree programs: 6.0 bands minimum
  • A bank statement of last six (6) months showing access to funds required fro living and study fees
  • Proof of income, where this amount come from; proof might be in form of tax returns, income statement, salary statement etc; or
  • A bank loan letter in your personal name or close family member’s name explaining that you have access to required amount for study related expenditures through out your stay in Australia                

Visa Fee:

Australian study visa fee is AUD 535/ payable in form of Demand Draft or credit card. If you want to pay in form of Demand draft, then it should be drawn in favor of Department of Immigration & Citizenship (DIAC).

From Last year, Australian High Commission Islamabad is not accepting student visa application, so all student visa applications are being sent to Adelaide student visa processing centre. Address is given below;
